Dr Abel Ajibesin


American University of Nigeria

Assistant Professor Abel Ajibesin received two PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Nigeria, respectively. He is currently a faculty member at the American University of Nigeria. He is also the Principal Consultant for Best Practice Consulting and a visiting academic at the University of Cape Town and Modibbo Adama University of Technology.

Abel is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the African Journal of Undergraduate & Researchers. He has published over 40 articles in highly renowned peer-reviewed international conferences, journal articles, and book chapters.

Abel was a recipient of a South African award for extraordinary skills in electrical engineering, and has held the position of distinguished research scholar at the School of Engineering at Simon Fraser University, Canada, as well as those of alumnus and associate of the African Institute of Mathematical Science.
