Carmen Escobedo de Tapia is Senior Lecturer at the University of Oviedo, Spain. Her work focuses on the field of contemporary Indian literature in English. In recent years, she has been a Visiting Scholar at Jawaharlal Nehru University and Pondicherry University, India, and is currently a Lecturer in the Master of Indian Art at Complutense University in Madrid.Alejandra Moreno-Álvarez is Senior Lecturer at the University of Oviedo, Spain. Her teaching and research are centred on literatures in English language and feminist and postcolonial theory. She is a member of the Research Project “The Politics, Aesthetics and Marketing of Literary Formulae in Popular Women’s Fiction: History, Exoticism and Romance”, where she focuses on the aesthetics and marketability of popular romance novels in India. She is a Board Member of the Spanish Association for Interdisciplinary India Studies (AEEII).
