Dr Georgios P. Georgiou is a tenure-track Faculty Member in Linguistics at the Department of Languages and Literature of the University of Nicosia, and is the Coordinator of the Cyprus Linguistics and the Humanities Research Group. His research interests lie in the areas of phonetics, phonology, psycholinguistics, and second language acquisition. His work has appeared in various high-impact, international journals, and he has received several national and international research grants and awards.
