Maize is the major staple crop in SSA, and the volume provides a detailed account of consumption demand, production potentials, the maize value chain, and the future outlook of the maize sub-sector in the near future. It provides projections of productivity growth in maize and points out key areas that require investment. This is rich information and analysis which will provide policymakers in the region with actionable insights.
