"Controversies in Medicine and Neuroscience: Through the Prism of History, Neurobiology, and Bioethics (2023) is well worth reading and studying. It should be standard on all doctor’s bookshelves and among the interested laymen."

Loneliness and the Crisis of Work

In the context of contemporary capitalist societies, this book provides philosophical reflections on new forms of domination, vulnerability and alienation in the social relations associated with work. Following Hannah Arendt, who viewed work as a world-building activity, the volume addresses issues pertaining to the crisis of work and loneliness as a political problem of exclusion and meaninglessness.

Pritika Nehra holds a PhD in Philosophy from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Her research interests include phenomenology and political philosophy, with particular reference to the work of Hannah Arendt.
