Dr Mital N. Manvar, M. Pharm, PhD., is currently Associate Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Atmiya University, Rajkot, Gujarat, India. She has 17 years of experience in teaching pharmacy graduates and postgraduates, and also supervising doctoral students. Her research explores the therapeutic properties of medicinal plants, specifically their anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic and anti-coagulant activities, while also focusing on pharmacognosy, phytochemical screening, and the development and standardization of herbal medicines. She has presented several papers in conferences and published more than 15 papers in national and international journals. She has mentored several SSIP (Student Startup and Innovation Policy) and IKS (Indian Knowledge Systems) funded projects focused on medicinal plants. Additionally, she is an active member of various academic bodies and has earned awards for her presentations and contributions to the pharmaceutical community.
