The present book addresses the role of NGOs in the educational development of underprivileged children and the various challenges of NGOs in educating underprivileged children. Kajal Kumar Dutta works as an advisor to Srotoshwini Trust, a Vadodara-based non-governmental organization. He was awarded his PhD from Navrachana University, Vadodara, India, for his research on “NGO’s role in educating the underprivileged children” in Vadodara district, India. He specialises in education of underprivileged children, project management, and teaching university students and underprivileged children. He has published 11 journal articles on NGOs, collaboration between corporates and NGOs, and the impact of COVID-19 on education.

Vandan Talegaonkar works as an Associate Professor in the School of Liberal Studies and Education of Navrachana University, Vadodara. She was awarded her PhD from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, India for her research on “Academic culture of schools”. She specialised in curriculum and pedagogy, technology and pedagogy, capacity building, teacher education and training, blended learning, constructivism, and lifelong learning. She has published 18 journal articles and 7 book chapters related to education.
