Among his many academic and scientific honours he is a Distinguished Scholar and member of the National Academy of Medicine (Washington D.C., USA) and Honorary Fellow of the Royal Veterinary College (London, UK). A renowned One Health leader and comparative virologist, Dr Lairmore has authored or co-authored over 200 peer-reviewed scientific publications and book chapters.

Michael Wilkes (MD) is a Professor of Medicine and Global Health, and Director of Global Health, University of California, Davis, School of Medicine. He extensively published in the medical education and scientific literature and is also an award-winning journalist and senior medical correspondent. His current research focuses on managing emerging or re-emerging One Health infections and training the next generation of One Health practitioners.

Susan Salter Reynolds was a book critic and columnist at the Los Angeles Times for twenty-five years. She taught writing at Dartmouth College and is now a freelance writer and editor, working on several books and magazines. She is the author, with Amy Edmondson, of “Building the Future: Big Teaming for Audacious Innovation,” a book about building the sustainable cities of the future.
