Dr Milind Hemraj Gajbhiye, a distinguished professor at Tuljaram Chaturchand College, Baramati, India, holds a PhD in Microbiology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, India. With 28 years of experience, his research covers agricultural and industrial microbiology, bacteriophage technology, biocementation, waste valorisation, and bioactive compounds. Dr Gajbhiye has published 30 research papers in renowned international journals like Microbiological Research, Indian Journal of Microbiology, Current Microbiology, Journal of Phytopathology, Nova Hedwigia, Biocontrol Science & Technology and serves as a reviewer for several of them.
Dr Gajbhiye has received over INR 2.7 million in research grants from Indian bodies (UGC & DST-SERB). He has co-authored three books, holds a patent, and currently guides six PhD candidates. He has presented his work internationally in Spain, the Maldives, Bangladesh, and Thailand. As a life member of the Association of Microbiologists of India, Microbiologists Society India and Biotechnology Research Society of India, he continues to contribute significantly to the field of microbiology.
