Polymer Science and Technology
Dr Ehsan Nazarzadeh Zare is currently Assistant Professor in Polymer Chemistry at Damghan University, Iran. He received his BSc in 2006 in Pure Chemistry at Lorestan University, Iran, and his MSc (2009) and PhD (2015) degrees in Polymer Chemistry from Urmia University and the University of Mazandaran, Iran, respectively. Between May 2015 and May 2016, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Mazandaran. He is the author of more than 35 ISI research papers and one book, entitled Advanced Methods for Synthesis of Polymers. He was the Lead Guest Editor of the International Journal of Polymer Science from 2016 until 2017. He has also been an editorial board member of the Caspian Journal of Applied Sciences Research, Open Chemistry Journal, the International Journal of Materials Science and Applications, the American Journal of Applied Chemistry, and the American Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology since 2013. In addition, he is a reviewer for international journals including Carbohydrate Polymers, the International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, Synthetic Metals, Materials Science and Engineering: C Materials for Biological Applications, Colloid and Polymer Science. His current research interests include biosensors, conductive polymers and nanocomposites, chelating polymers for the removal of heavy metals ions and dyes, synthesis of nanostructures and synthesis of nanocomposite as an anticorrosion coating.
