Dr Parastoo Yaghmaee is Vice President of Process and Validation at Ziel Process Solutions, having received her PhD in food science from the University of British Columbia, Canada. She is a thermal process specialist and a recognized process authority with the Almond Board of California. Her career focuses on process setting and development of new technologies, with a particular focus on microwave and radiofrequency applications in food and agriculture as well as probiotics and nutraceutical products. She is also experienced in dehydration, pasteurization, sterilization and process flow design.
