Rishabh Dev Shukla received his B.Tech from U.P. Technical University, Lucknow, and his M.Tech degree from the University of Allahabad, Allahabad, both in India, in 2006, and 2008 respectively. He completed his doctoral degree at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, also in Allahabad, in power electronics and electrical drives in 2015. During his studies he was also associated with MNNIT Allahabad as a member of the Visiting Faculty in the Department of Electrical Engineering for three years. Currently, Rishabh is working as an Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering and as Polytechnic Dean at BBIT Kolklata, India. He has published several papers in national and international journals and conference proceedings, and his primary areas of interest are power electronics, electric drives, renewable energy, wind and solar energy conversion systems, power quality, and converter and inverter control. He has been actively involved in research activities related to power and energy, serving as a journal reviewer, conference technical program committee member, and chair/co-chair. At present he is working on a project entitled 'DC-DFIG based Wind Energy Generation Systems'.
