Dr Jeetesh Kumar hails from Pakistan. He has a doctorate in Hospitality and Tourism. He also possesses three postgraduate degrees in Hospitality & Tourism, Marketing, and Business Administration.
He is a member of the Tourism Educators Association of Malaysia (TEAM), Social Science and Humanities Research Association (SSHRA) and Teaching and Education Research Association (TERA). He is an academic, researcher, trainer, outdoor educator and consultant. He was a key member of consultancy teams for national-level projects during his PhD tenure. He is a member of several committees and international associations and a paper reviewer for many international conferences and journals. He has presented his research in several conferences and his papers are published in various peer-reviewed journals. He has been on the organizing committee for several conferences and international events.
His current key responsibilities at Taylor’s University (Malaysia) include curriculum development, conducting classes using modern methodologies of problem-based learning and project-based learning, conducting student-centred learning, and training students to help them achieve higher technical competency. His professional academic activities include organizing events in the university throughout the year; he also supervises the development and completion of research and training projects.
His background in both research and academic training has helped Dr Kumar to provide a solid foundation for students and peers to make immediate and meaningful contributions in academia.
