Editor(s) Biography

Susan Shell is Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at Boston College. Her books include The Rights of Reason: a Study of Kant’s Philosophy and Politics (Toronto: 1980); The Embodiment of Reason: Kant on Spirit, Generation and Community (Chicago: 1996); Kant and the Limits of Autonomy (Cambridge, MA: 2009); and (edited, with Richard Velkley) Kant’s “Observations and Remarks”: A Critical Guide (Cambridge: 2012).
