New Approaches and Tendencies in Entrepreneurial Management: International Conference Proceedings

This volume presents a set of innovative approaches to international management theory and practice. It disseminates the most important results of scientific research in the organisation management field to professors, management consultants, researchers and managers at an international level. It is structured in four sections, covering the main areas of interest in management: management of change, innovation and quality; knowledge management and intellectual capital; entrepreneurship, SMEs and social enterprises; and university governance and management.

Professor Ovidiu Nicolescu, PhD, works at the Economic University of Bucharest, Romania, and is President of the Romanian Scientific Management Society and the National Council of SMEs of Romania. He is also Vice President of the European Association of Craft, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and the World Association for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. His publications include 43 books.

Professor George Plesoianu, PhD, of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania, is a Senior Management Consultant and the founder, and Honorary President, of the first Romanian Management Consultancies Association. Professor Plesoianu edited the first management book in Romania and has published more than 100 consultancy studies.

Alexandru Costin Cîrstea of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania, is a PhD student and Junior Management Consultant. The focus of his PhD research is entrepreneurship in rural Romanian areas. So far, the results of his research have been published in more than 30 scientific articles and in scientific reviews and publications. He owns a management consultancy and a training company, which play an active role in developing and implementing human resources, training and business investment projects.
