Lütfiye Özalemdar completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of Biology in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Karadeniz Technical University, Turkey, in 2001. She received a Master’s degree in Secondary School Science and Mathematics Education/Biology Education in 2003 and a PhD in Secondary School Science and Mathematics Education/Biology Education in 2014 from Karadeniz Technical University. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Child Development Programme of the Child Care and Youth Services Department in the Vocational School of Health Services at Giresun University, Turkey.
