Cambridge Scholars Publishing New Royalty Scheme

Cambridge Scholars Publishing is very pleased to announce a new and improved royalty structure, which will allow our authors and editors to share much more generously in the success of the press. Best of all, they can start reaping the rewards from day one!

Over the past couple of years, the issue of book royalty payments has been hotly debated within the book publishing industry and the academic community alike. Increasing numbers of Cambridge Scholars authors have been asking for a more equitable and user-friendly system that acknowledges the smaller volume of sales per title in academic vs. mainstream publishing, and begins rewarding the author from the very first sale.

Cambridge Scholars CEO, Graeme Nicol, said: “We are very excited to be introducing this significant transformation of our royalty structure. Our publishing house is committed to putting our authors at the heart of everything we do, as well as offering innovative solutions that look beyond the traditional confines of the publishing community. This new model will benefit authors and editors from the onset, with a sliding scale of royalties as sales increase. We have thoroughly surveyed the academic publishing marketplace and I am delighted that this model rewards our authors through a more generous and transparent scheme than many of the available alternatives.”

If you are an author/editor and would like to learn more about how this new structure will affect you, or if you are keen to explore publishing opportunities with Cambridge Scholars, please feel free to contact a member of our team: info@cambridgescholars.com
