Cambridge Scholars Publishing (剑桥学者出版社) is committed to developing our presence within emerging markets, and China has been one of our success stories so far. We have been striving to actively promote our content within China since 2009, working closely with our representative, Inspirees International, in order to ensure that Chinese libraries are able to access our authors’ research. We are delighted to be collaborating so successfully with Inspirees, especially given that their ethos - to inspire the potential within a person, connect people together and deliver added values - closely mirrors the values of Cambridge Scholars Publishing, and our focus on expanding the conversation between authors and their audience.
As China is famous for its passion for education, and because we consider that it will be one of the front runners of academic thinking in the years ahead, Cambridge Scholars is very excited to be engaging with the Chinese academic community. In China, as the Chinese would say, we are “如魚得水” (like a fish to water).
2013 was our best year yet in terms of the number of books sold, and we are optimistic for the year ahead as we look to broaden our horizons into supplying e-content alongside physical publications.
